Western State Hospital - Emergency Volunteer Health Practitioners

Good afternoon Stacy Castro,

I am Brianna Ogunsemi-Dorsey, a Hiring Coordinator at Western State Hospital. I receive information that you were interested in being an Emergency Volunteer Healthcare Practitioner.

I have attached a link for you to review more information about Washington State Department of Health’s Emergency Volunteer Health Practitioners  (https://www.doh.wa.gov/Emergencies/NovelCoronavirusOutbreak2020COVID19/HealthcareProviders/EmergencyVolunteerHealthPractitioners ) as well as the application that needs to be filled out and approved by DOH prior to activation if you have not already.

We are currently offering on ward positons, we have both patients and staff who have tested positive for Coronavirus and we have a shortage of PPE but we are taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of both our patients and staff.

Pay class and compensation will be determined by experience and if you are currently out of state we will provide a hotel during the duration of your stay as an Emergency Volunteer at Western State Hospital.

Thank you for volunteering to serve during this time, if you would like to move forward please respond to this email.

Sincerely,

Brianna Ogunsemi-Dorsey,

Diversity and Workforce Coordinator
